A great week spent getting to know the Year 6s! We have enjoyed partaking in our ‘Learning to Learn Week’ where we have understood how our brain works and how to make more synaptic pathways! We’ve learnt that asking questions and being curious only helps us to learn and that no question is silly! We learnt that electrical impulses are sent through the brain from neurons and created some art inspired by this using a printing technique. We also looked at the power of yet and the learning pit. We explored the 4 operations in maths (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) by playing a game. I can’t wait to continue learning with the Year 6s – bring it on!
